Molyform 1010 is a high-performance evaporative lubricant specially formulated for cold metal forming of light gauge materials. The product is suitable for use on a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals – including aluminium and a range of galvanized and Zintec coated steels.

Molyform 1010 incorporates advanced synthetic additives that provide excellent film strength and lubricity which prevent metal pick up between the work piece and tool thereby reducing pick-up and scoring. As a result, Molyform 1010 is suitable for use on many shallow drawing, stamping, bending, blanking and piercing operations providing a cost-effective route to improved product quality and tool life and increased productivity.

The evaporative nature and light viscosity of Molyform 1010 facilitates use as a vanishing film eliminating the need, under some circumstances, to degrease components and minimising ‘slug pulling’ when piercing thin gauge materials.
