Steelgard X12 is a specially formulated moisture-displacing corrosion preventative designed to provide indoor protection of metallic components for up to 12 months.

Steelgard X12 is based on a unique blend of high-quality corrosion inhibitors, oils and waxes specially selected to deposit a thin oil-like film which facilitates ease of removal prior to either secondary operations or components being put into service.

Steelgard X12 is available in both a fluid and spray form, ensuring our corrosion prevention can meet any manufacturing application.

The applied film also has self-healing properties which protects against removal by accidental scuffs, scrapes and handling of components during storage. Steelgard X12 utilises low-odour hydrocarbon solvents and is barium free to minimise health and safety issues and maximise operator acceptability.
