How to choose your anti-seize grease
Anti-seize compounds are specially formulated greases that prevent galling, seizing, corrosion, heat freezing, cold welding and the stripping of fittings and bolts. At Molyslip, we manufacture a range of anti-seize grease compounds to suit specific applications, but we can appreciate that choosing the right compound for the job can be daunting. For this reason we sat down with our technical manager to help you choose the right anti-seize for your application.
Before considering products, you will need to consider your application.
- What kind of environment and temperature will the anti-seize be subjected to?
- What materials are your fasteners made of? Steel, Aluminium, Copper, etc..
- Is there a risk of electrolytic corrosion/galvanic corrosion?

COPASLIP
Our top selling anti-seize, COPASLIP™ is a copper based anti-seize compound.
COPASLIP™ is a high-performance compound specifically formulated to protect fasteners from seizing due to extremes of temperature, pressure, and corrosion.
COPASLIP™ utilises a semi-synthetic base fluid reinforced with anti-oxidants, corrosion inhibitors, and ultra-pure copper particles to provide outstanding protection to threads and components.

ALUMSLIP

ALUMSLIP is our high-temperature, anti-seize compound formulated to protect fasteners from seizure induced by conditions such as extreme temperature, pressure, and corrosion.
The mineral oil base fluid contains micronized particles of metal and non-metal fillers to provide excellent lubrication and protection to threads and components.
- Silver in colour
- Optimal for applications where dissimilar metal/galvanic corrosion is a possibility
- Ideally suited for use between mixed materials, i.e., between aluminium and steel
- For application where copper is not desirable
FERROSLIP
Our extreme temperature anti-seize compound, FERROSLIP is formulated for high-strength fasteners and super alloys.
The mineral-oil base fluid contains micronized particles of metallic and non-metal fillers to provide excellent lubrication and protection to threads and components.
- High-temperature capability up to +1400°C (+2500°F)
- The best option for finer threaded fasteners due to the small particle size of the compound
- Suited for use on high strength super alloys, for example nickel based alloys
- Non-toxic nickel free alternative
CERAMSLIP
Metal-free anti-seize CERAMSLIP, has our highest and lowest temperature capability.
MOLYSLIP CERAMSLIP is a premium performance, metal free anti-seize compound formulated to protect fasteners from seizure induced by extremes of temperature, pressure and corrosion.
The fully synthetic base fluid contains a unique combination of micronized, non-metallic particles to provide excellent lubrication and protection to threads and components.

GRAPHSLIP
Our graphited anti-seize, GRAPHSLIP, is a metal-free anti-seize optimal for use on softer substrate materials.
GRAPHSLIP is resistant to temperatures up to 550°C due to the ultra-high melt point solids that remain stable where traditional filler metals would fail.
The non-metallic nature also means that the risk of galvanic corrosion due to the presence of dissimilar metals is eliminated. GRAPHSLIP is suitable for use on brake assemblies, all studs, nuts, bolts and other threaded connections, including exhaust systems and manifolds.

FOODSLIP
Our NSF registered FOODSLIP anti-seize is a food grade compound which is approved for use where there is a possibility of food contact.
Molyslip® FOODSLIP is a premium-performance, food-grade anti-seize compound formulated to protect fasteners from seizure-induced by temperature, pressure, and corrosion.
The high purity base fluid contains micronized high load white solids, including PTFE, to provide excellent lubrication and protection to threads and components operating in areas where there is a possibility of incidental food contact.
