Molyslip, leading Manchester based manufacturer of specialist lubricants, has coincided its Christmas Jumper Day with a Wood Street Mission toy drive. Together, with sister companies Metalube and UOP, the companies have collected toys, clothes, books and treats which will be given to impoverished children in the Manchester area for Christmas.
Robert Brown, Managing Director says: “We couldn’t be prouder of the team and all of their contributions. It is fantastic that these children can wake up on Christmas morning and feel like any other child who has had a visit from Santa.”
The Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal asks for donations of new gifts, toys and treats such as selection boxes and advent calendars for children of low-income families, whom the Mission supports. The Mission, established in 1869, supports children and families on a low income in Manchester and Salford.
