Description

Water-based corrosion inhibitor concentrate

Aquatest is a highly concentrated blend of corrosion inhibitors used to protect tanks, pipework, HVAC, sprinklers and other water-containing systems from corrosion.

Adding 2-5% Aquatest to water used to fill a sealed system renders the water non-corrosive and extends the life of the metal parts considerably.

In some applications, e.g. steel drum reconditioning, concentrations as low as 0.2 – 0.5% can prevent flash rusting during a power wash.

Application

Aquatest should ideally be dissolved in demineralized water at 2-5% to suit the requirements of the process conditions.

Ensure thorough mixing or recirculation has been carried out to provide a homogeneous solution and consistent protection. Refer to the product safety data sheet for safe handling, storage, and disposal guidance.
