Description

Arvina AK2 is a premium performance, graphited grease formulated to lubricate bearings operating at low speeds but very high temperatures. It is formulated from a semi-synthetic base fluid and non-melting thickener system reinforced with graphite and High Load White Solids (HLWS) to maximise load-carrying ability.

Arvina AK2 is suitable for bearings, trolley rollers and other equipment operating in ovens and furnaces operating at temperatures up to 550°C, in industries such as paper mills, steel mills, petrochemical plants and other heavy engineering environments.

Application

Arvina AK2 should be used as supplied. Can be applied manually, via a standard grease gun or via a central lubricating system capable of pumping an NLGI 2 grease. Care should be taken not to overfill bearings – typically 25 to 30% fill is recommended.

Note: As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease used previously and if necessary, purge bearings prior to application.
