Description

The Arvina XR range is a high-performance, PFPE-bearing grease. It is a family of fully synthetic, perfluorinated greases designed for bearings operating in extreme temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. The optimised base oil, thickener, and additive system combine to deliver outstanding resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation at temperatures up to 280°C.

Arvina XR products have excellent resistance to most aggressive chemicals such as acids, alkalis, solvents and oxidising agents allowing them to be used where conventional products will fail.

The Arvina XR range is available in a range of NLGI penetration grades to satisfy a wide variety of operating conditions and application methods:

Arvina XR greases are suitable for use in plain, ball and roller bearings, slides, gears, pins/bushes and valve mechanisms operating in the temperature range of -30°C to +280°C. They are also NSF H1 registered making them suitable for use where there is a possibility of incidental food contact.

Application

Arvina XR products should be used as supplied. Can be applied manually, via a standard grease gun or central lubricating system capable of pumping NLGI 2 grease.

Note: As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease used previously and if necessary, purge bearings prior to application.

If the previous grease was not perfluorinated then extreme care should be taken to thoroughly degrease using a suitable solvent (such as Slipclean RD) as Arvina XR grades are not compatible with conventional mineral or synthetic oil greases.
