Description

Glasstek IX-220 is a premium, fully synthetic lubricant developed for the lubrication and protection of Individual Section (IS) glass forming machines used in hollow glass production.

Formulated with a balanced blend of high-performance synthetic base fluids, IX-220 provides outstanding thermal stability, consistent viscosity, and long-lasting lubrication even under extreme operating temperatures.

An advanced additive package minimises friction, wear, and component degradation, while effectively reducing carbon deposit formation caused by oxidative breakdown—ensuring cleaner operation and extended equipment life.

Application

Glasstek IX-220 should be used as supplied and may be applied by brush, drip feed, or automatic lubrication systems, which should ideally be drained and thoroughly flushed before introduction.

For optimal results, all carbon residues should be removed during changeover.
