Description

Glasstek IX-220UV is a high-performance, fully synthetic lubricant developed for the lubrication and protection of Individual Section (IS) glass forming machines used in hollow glass production.

Formulated with a precise blend of advanced synthetic base fluids, it provides outstanding long-term lubrication, thermal stability, and viscosity consistency under demanding high-temperature conditions.

Its enhanced additive technology minimises friction, wear, and carbon build-up caused by oxidative degradation, ensuring cleaner operation and improved reliability.

To support maintenance efficiency, Glasstek IX-220UV incorporates a fluorescent tracer visible under UV light, enabling fast leak detection and system integrity verification, ultimately reducing downtime and extending service intervals.

Application

Glasstek IX-220 should be used as supplied and can be applied by brush, drip or automatic lubrication systems which should ideally be drained and flushed prior to introduction.

For optimal results previous carbon residues should be removed during change-over.
