Description

Molychain HX series products are fully synthetic oils specifically formulated to lubricate and protect chains operating at high temperatures. Molychain HX products are formulated from the latest advanced synthetic ester base fluids combined with high-performance anti-oxidant and anti-wear additives to ensure excellent thermal stability while providing effective wear protection to chain components.

Molychain HX series products are suitable for use in a wide variety of industries where high-temperature processes are encountered such as glass and mineral wool curing, plasterboard drying,
ceramic and textile production.

Molychain HX-100 and HX-220 are designed for standard industrial applications, Molychain HX-125PC has been specifically designed for use on e-coat lines where exposure to water based coatings / humidity is expected – a unique additives system minimises the creation of oil spots that can result in coating imperfections.

Low volatility.

Capable of operating up to 270°C (290°C intermittently)

Application

Molychain HX products should be used as supplied and can be applied by brush, drip or automatic lubrication systems which should ideally be drained and flushed prior to introduction.

For optimal results previous carbon residues should be removed during change-over. Refer to the product safety data sheet for guidance on safe handling, storage and disposal.

ARVINA FM2 is an excellent gearbox grease. Purchased to refill the gearbox on a mixer, which requires food safe grease. I coated the planetary track and gear. The result was the mixer sounded quieter. I recommend this grease for similar applications.
