Description

OCL-DF20 is a water-based, graphite dispersion specifically designed to lubricate chain systems subjected to extremely high operating temperatures. It is formulated from an ultra-high purity, very fine particle-size graphite with effective stabilising and film-forming agents to ensure effective lubrication beyond the temperature range of conventional oils.

OCL-DF20 can be applied at temperatures up to 80°C. One the water volatilises a film of graphite is deposited which protects chain components from wear. The dry graphite film is suitable for use at continuous operating temperatures up to 450oC and intermittently up to 600°C.

OCL-DF20 is NSF H1 registered and therefore suitable for use where incidental food contact may occur.

Application

OCL-DF20 should be used as supplied and applied by brush or low pressure spray. Lubrication systems should ideally be drained and flushed prior to introduction of OCL-DF20. Refer to the product safety data sheet for guidance on safe handling, storage and disposal.
