Description

Steelgard TD is a solvent-deposited de-watering corrosion preventative and light-duty lubricant designed to protect metal parts from corrosion during all phases of manufacture, use, storage and transport.

TD is a clear, free-flowing liquid that is thin, transparent and easy to apply with no mess or sticky coating. It has a high-performance finish with powerful water displacement and long-term corrosion protection. Steelgard TD has a high coverage rate and dries quickly for minimal holdup in maintenance.

The highly efficient corrosion inhibitors deliver a dry-to-the-touch, high-surface coverage thin film that protects metal surfaces without the need for a heavy, greasy film.

Application

Instructions for use Steelgard TD should be used as supplied. Steelgard TD can be used in dip-tanks, brushed or decanted into sprays for application. Refer to the product safety data sheet for guidance on safe handling, storage and disposal.

ARVINA FM2 is an excellent gearbox grease. Purchased to refill the gearbox on a kitchen mixer, which requires food safe grease. I coated the planetary track and gear. The result was the mixer sounded quieter. I recommend this grease for similar applications.
