Description

Steelgard X10 is a fully synthetic, water-soluble concentrate based on a unique blend of additives to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion.

Steelgard X10 is readily soluble in water and has extremely low foaming which, combined with the powerful corrosion inhibitor package, makes the product ideal for use in pressure test solutions (static/total loss or recirculation), hydro bulging and cooling water systems.

At higher concentrations, Steelgard X10 can be used to provide short-term indoor corrosion protection to metal components – the residual film is non-greasy and dry to the touch.

Application

Steelgard X10 should be dissolved in good quality water (ideally deionised or low hardness content) at a concentration to suit the requirements of the process conditions.

Ensure thorough mixing or recirculation has been carried out to provide a homogeneous solution and consistent protection.

Recommended dilutions: Pressure test fluids 3-5% Short term corrosion inhibition of surfaces 2-10% Refer to the product safety data sheet for guidance on safe handling, storage and disposal.

Steelgard X10 should be stored in original, unopened packaging, out of direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
