Description

Molyslip TAP chlorine free is a range of premium performance lubricants designed for severe metal working operations such as drilling, reaming and tapping. They are formulated to meet the latest health, safety and environmental standards.

All of the products in the range are free from mineral oil, chlorinated paraffins and other hazardous components. Molyslip TAP chlorine free products possess outstanding lubrication and extreme pressure properties to provide excellent surface finish to components and to protect tooling from wear and
damage.

The Molyslip TAP chlorine free range comes in several forms to fit any manufacturing application:

Liquid
Spray
Compound

They are suitable for most drilling, reaming and tapping (spiral point, spiral flute and fluteless) operations on most metals. However it is advised that compatibility is checked prior to use
as the sulphurised extreme pressure additives may interact with some metals.

Application

To obtain optimum performance TAP chlorine free products should be used as supplied. Apply directly to either the tool or workpiece. Do not apply to rotating tools. For aerosol application shake can well before use and spray from a distance of 15-30cm (6 to 12 inches).

TAP chlorine free liquid can also be used as a supplement to boost the performance of neat cutting oils used in lathes and milling machines etc. The recommended addition rate is 5 - 10% concentration - check compatibility with the oil to be treated before use.
