Vaporol is a combined vapour-phase and contact inhibitor oil. (BSI 1133, section 6, TP9) for the simple and effective prevention of corrosion in enclosed areas.

Vaporol is designed to offer effective corrosion protection during both storage and transport. This makes Vaporol the ideal protection for enclosed spaces both in the storage and shipping industries.
Unlike other corrosion protectives, there is no need to coat the metal surfaces to be protected since the vapour slowly released from the oil will permeate the airspace and voids to neutralize the effect of moisture and corrosive contaminants.
Over time typical oil-based protections can drain away leaving surfaces exposed and vulnerable to corrosion.
While the system is enclosed, the contents are fully protected and this protection lasts indefinitely. There is also no need to seal, as long as tanks are capped, packing cases closed and oil caps on, the vapours will remain in place.
