Description

WLS-10000 is a premium wireline lubricant designed to lubricate and seal wirelines used in operations such as oil and gas well logging, pipe recovery, and reservoir analysis.

The highly adhesive, viscous base fluids provide excellent lubrication and wear protection to the wireline combined with effective dynamic sealing.

The specially selected additive system delivers excellent protection from corrosion in the most severe down-hole environments where exposure to moisture,
hydrogen sulphide (H2S), and corrosive fluids occurs.

The WLS series of products are suitable for use as a lubricant and sealant for braided wirelines, cables and slicklines.

Application

WLS products should be used as supplied. Although incompatibility issues are not expected it is advised that WSL products are not mixed with previously used wireline lubricants.

ARVINA FM2 is an excellent gearbox grease. Purchased to refill the gearbox on a mixer, which requires food safe grease. I coated the planetary track and gear. The result was the mixer sounded quieter. I recommend this grease for similar applications.
