Molyform 1002 is a specially formulated light viscosity evaporative cold metal forming lubricant, suitable for use on a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals – including aluminium and a range of galvanized and Zintec coated steels.

Molyform 1002 incorporates advanced synthetic additives that provide excellent film strength and lubricity which prevent metal pick up between the work piece and tool thereby reducing pick-up and scoring.

As a result, Molyform 1002 is suitable for use on many bending, blanking, piercing and ‘fin’ forming operations of light gauge materials providing a cost-effective route to improved product
quality and tool life and increased productivity.

The evaporative nature and light viscosity of Molyform 1002 facilitates use as a vanishing film, eliminating the need to degrease components in some circumstances and minimising ‘slug pulling’ when piercing thin gauge materials.
