Overview
Caterpillar is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines. Subcontractor and manufacturer of Caterpillar sump pans contacted Vapor-Tek looking for corrosion protection for the post-production and shipping of generator sump pans.

Issue
The subcontractor had previously used a product which was no longer available on the market and was looking for an alternative product. The product needed to protect the component during transportation over deep sea transit from UK to the USA. It had to be easy to apply and easy to remove.

Solution
